A total of 91 goals have been scored in the Tanzania Mainland Premier League. The goals have been scored in the 50 games that have been played so far when the league has stopped to pass the games for tickets to play in the African Nations Cup Finals (AFCON 2025)
The goals were scored by a number of 65 players, with Fountain Gate striker, Selemani Mwalimu being the leader, scoring five goals so far
Statistics show that among those goals, 10 were scored by penalties and one was scored. Those who scored with penalties were Djuma Shaaban of Namungo, Heritier Makambo and Shedrack Asiegbu (Tabora United), Jean Ahoua and Leonel Ateba (Simba), Ibrahim Elias (KMC), Salum Kihimbwa (Fountaina Gate), Hassan Dilunga (JKT Tanzania), Nurdin Chona (Prisons) by Stephane Aziz Ki of Yanga
KMC's Fred Tangalo scored a save in a game played on September 19, this year when his team was beaten 4-0 by Azam FC, being the only own goal since the start of this season
>Of the 91 goals, Fountain Gate scored the most so far, scoring 14 goals, followed by Simba with 12 goals, while Pamba Jiji scored only two goals, which is the fewest scored by any team in the league so far
Statistics show that in the 50 Premier League games played so far, 33 have produced winners and 17 have ended in a draw. Also in 33 winning games, 19 games have been won by teams playing at home, and 14 games have produced winners when teams are playing away.
The schedule shows that the Tanzania Mainland Premier League will resume on October 18, this year when the eighth round games will begin, Coastal Union will host Dodoma City, JKT Tanzania will host Tabora United and Prisons will be at home against Azam FC
