The opposition between these teams started last season when some of the former bosses of Singida Big Stars gave up and bought Ihefu Fc while leaving with almost all the foreign stars who were serving the team
Ihefu Fc later changed its name to Singida Black Stars while moving its residence to Singida
Singida Big Stars was renamed to Singida Fountain Gate and moved its residence to Mwanza where it was the residence of the new owners who bought the team and changed its name to Fountain Gate
It is called Pacha Derby because the owners of these teams were together before the confusion that arose after Singida Big Stas was sold
