Ibrahima Konate has confirmed that he will be present for Liverpool's Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday
The defender gave Liverpool fans a scare when he was forced off at half-time in the Reds' 2-1 win over Brighton on Saturday
Konate was replaced by Joe Gomez after he fell badly during a corner, and Virgil van Dijk then accidentally stepped on his hand
"There was an effort by everyone for the ball and I think I stepped on his arm," Van Dijk said
"Hopefully it's not too bad, we'll have to wait and see. You can be fine as a player with a hand injury so hopefully he'll be fine"
Liverpool coach Arne Slot added: "He was in a lot of pain at half-time. He was desperate and had to come out. He's not in hospital yet. He might not even go; it's too early to tell after the game"
