Two weeks after returning from injuries that kept him out of the field for more than 12 months, Brazilian star Neymar has injured his thigh while serving Al-Hilal in the Asian Champions League.
In the 58th minute of Al Hilal's 3-0 win against Esteghlal of Iran, Neymar entered the field but did not stay on the field for long, he came out again in the 87th minute after going down and holding the back of his right leg
The match against Esteghlal was the second match for Neymar since he returned from recovering from a meniscus injury in Brazil's World Cup qualifier against Uruguay
He returned to action against Al Ain on October 21. Neymar cannot play in the Saudi Premier League at the moment because he is not registered
In recent years, Neymar has been plagued by frequent injuries. While at Paris Saint-Germain he suffered a variety of injuries, including a serious metatarsal injury, which kept him out many times between 2017 and 2023
Last summer, he moved from the French capital to Saudi Arabia on a two-year deal with Al-Hilal
The transfer fee was 90 million euros. In 2017, Neymar joined PSG from FC Barcelona for a world record fee of 222 million pounds. So far, the Brazilian has played for Al Hilal in only seven matches.
