Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola has confirmed that his team's situation is fragile and if they lose the next game they will officially lose the English Premier League title this season.
These four-time champions of the EPL, last weekend set the record for losing the most goals in their home field under Guardiola after losing 4-0 against Tottenham.
Despite the defeat, Man City has continued to remain in second place in the English Premier League with 23 points.
Talking about the state of his squad, Guardiola said they are going through difficult times and will need to do something quickly
"Of course everything is not right. In eight years we have never met a situation like this. At the moment we are helpless. Sometimes you have to go through this situation. You have to accept it, this is not the time to start blaming each other, we should stay let's stick together, we shouldn't run," said Guardiola.
The coach also said this is a time when the players and the team as a whole have to stick together more than ever before and the only thing that differentiates them is when they go through challenges they stand up and face them together.
Guardiola, who has lost five matches for the first time in his coaching career, has said that the good thing for him is that his players tend to be restless and think too much when they lose a game.
"There will be a problem if my players are not worried or if I am not worried. I don't know what will happen this season, but not even for a second I will not believe in the players. No team in the world can maintain success for eight, nine, ten in a row"
