Ramovic determined to win against MC Alger

After beating Al Hilal 1-0 away in Mauritania and restoring hope of qualifying for the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League (CAF CL), Yanga Head Coach Sead Ramovic has stopped the celebrations and asked the players to forget the victory against Al Hilal. as they face an important match at the weekend against MC Alger

Saturday, January 18, Yanga needs to win the game against MC Alger to qualify for the CAF CL quarter-finals

Ramovic said the important thing for them is to focus on the game which he believes will be difficult but they should make good use of their home field to qualify for the quarter finals

"The match against Al Hilal is over, I have told the players after leaving the field to stop their joy, we have to consider ourselves as if we have done nothing and if we have to do something bigger in the next home game"

"We need to win the last match strongly despite the fact that it won't be easy, MC Alger are also going through changes in their team unlike when they started the group matches, what we need is to increase attention in this last match"

"We will be at home and they won against us while at home, and we have to win at home"

"We have had good changes in our team unlike the first two matches we played and we have started to improve strongly, I congratulate my players, but they need to realize that we are going to play a difficult match that will carry our honor," said Ramovic

Yanga is expected to land today from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where the team landed yesterday from Mauritania, the caravan getting time to rest before connecting the flight back home this afternoon
