Yanga Club attacking midfielder, Pacome Zouzoua, faces a two-week break from the game after injuring his ankle in the NBC Premier League match against Azam FC
The match played recently ended with Yanga emerging with a 2-1 victory, with Zouzoua being one of the scorers and another goal being scored by Prince Dube
However, despite his great contribution to the victory, Zouzoua did not complete 90 minutes after suffering an ankle sprain which forced the technical bench to remove him from the field
Yanga's doctor, Moses Etutu, has confirmed the injury and explained that the Ivorian player will be out of the field for 10 to 14 days
"Pacome injured his ankle, the expectation is that he will be out for 10 to 14. His initial progress is good, and if he carefully follows the medical instructions, there is a possibility that he will recover sooner or later in a few more days," said Dr. Etutu.
This is the second time that Zouzoua has suffered such an injury in a match against Azam FC. Last season, he suffered a similar injury in a league match that Yanga lost 2-1.
It seems that the match against Azam FC has had a bad history for the midfielder.
