In one of his interviews, Yanga's Media and Communications Manager Ali Kamwe has been heard boasting that they have already begun the process of improving the squad to ensure that next season they are better, especially in international competitions
"We have already secured a ticket to play in the Champions League next season, let me just tell you Yanga members and fans, next season we do not want what happened this season to happen again"

Inside reports have suggested that Yanga may add 6 players in the big window that will open in July
Areas that are expected to have improvements are the defense line especially the left back, center, defensive midfielder, attacking midfielder and central striker
Names mentioned as being on Yanga's radar include Jonathan Sowah, Feisal Salum, Koimizo Maiga (defensive midfielder from Asec) and Agee Basiala Amongo (attacking midfielder from As Maniema Union)
