The veteran soccer players from Zanzibar who will face former Brazilian stars have been announced after the organizers of the match, dubbed the 'Match of the Legends', made it public today, Thursday, in Zanzibar.
The international friendly match between the former Brazilian players led by Ronaldo de Assis Moreira 'Ronaldinho Gaucho' against those from Zanzibar will be held on July 27 at the new Amaan Stadium starting at 2:00 pm
According to the Honorary Ambassador of Brazil to Zanzibar, Abdulsamad Abdulrahim, the match will bring together world-famous players including Ronaldinho Gaucho and other former players from Brazil, while Zanzibar is expected to be led by Abdallah Juma Alley (Abdulwakati Juma), Murtala Ahmad Kibamba, Bakari Masoud, Nassoro Mwinyi Bwanga and others.
Abdulrahim said that all the former stars from Brazil will arrive in Zanzibar on July 26 and will train with talented young soccer players from the islands.
