Simba SC Squad Gathers in Egypt for Pre-Season Ahead of 2025/26 Campaign

Simba Head Coach Fadlu Davids yesterday received the second group of 11 players who arrived in Ismailia, Egypt, for the club’s preparations for the 2025/26 competition season.

These players joined the first group that had landed in Egypt last Wednesday, now entering their fifth day of pre-season training.

The addition of these players is expected to boost the energy in camp, as the initial group had relatively few players.

The new stars who reported to camp yesterday include midfielder Alassane Kante, winger Mohamed Bajaber, and striker Jonathan Sowah.

Others are Hussein Semfuko, Morice Abraham, as well as Bashir Salum, Ally Mbegu, and Alex Erasto from Simba’s U20 youth team.

Simba will be in camp for four weeks as they prepare for the new season, returning to Ismailia for the second time after doing the same last season.

Other players who have not yet joined the camp include those participating in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals with the Taifa Stars, and midfielder Neo Maema, who is currently with the South African national team.
