Simba’s management will be forced to decide the future of attacking midfielder Jean Charles Ahoua in this transfer window after receiving several offers for him, it has emerged.
Ahoua is still under contract with Simba until the end of the season, but it is reported that there are lucrative offers from clubs in the Middle East as well as Morocco’s Raja CA.
Raja CA head coach Fadlu Davids is pushing hard to secure the attacking midfielder, a player who could be said to have carried the blueprint of his success from his time at Simba before moving to Morocco at the start of this season.
So far, there have been no talks over extending his contract, and Simba could potentially lose him on a free transfer if they wait until his deal expires.
New Simba head coach Steve Barker views Ahoua as a key player in his squad and wants to retain him.
As a result, the decision now lies with Simba’s bosses, who must choose whether to cash in now or continue persuading the player to sign a new contract.
