Libyan club Al Ahly Benghazi has not finished their business in the transfer window. Their next target is attacking midfielder Luis Miquissone, who is currently on the club’s radar after impressing in the Mozambican league.
Miquissone, who recently ended the season receiving both the Player of the Year and Top Scorer awards in Mozambique, has an interesting history with clubs in East and Central Africa.
The midfielder previously played for Tanzanian club Simba, but during his stint at Al Ahly of Egypt, he did not maintain the expected level of performance. After that, he returned to Simba for one season before heading back to Mozambique to join his former team, UD Songo.
Miquissone’s potential signing signals Al Ahly Benghazi’s intention to utilize his experience and speed in the attacking line. They believe that the forward, at the peak of his form, can add significant strength to their squad and help achieve the club’s goals of maintaining success and strengthening their position in Libyan and North African football.
