Young Africans Celestin Ecua Completes Loan Move to JS Kabylie

Young Africans SC attacking midfielder Celestin Ecua has officially completed a loan move to Algerian club JS Kabylie, a step that brings his short stint with the Wananchi to an end.

Ecua has arrived in Algeria on a one-year loan after Yanga decided to leave him out of their plans for the current season, as the club opted to make major adjustments during the mid-season transfer window.

Earlier, the player had been linked with a potential move to South African side Sekhukhune United, alongside fellow midfielder Mohamed Doumbia, who was also not part of Yanga head coach’s plans.

However, JS Kabylie have emerged as Ecua’s new destination, offering him an opportunity to further develop his talent in one of Africa’s most competitive leagues.

Yanga’s decision to part ways with Ecua follows the club’s reinforcement of the squad through the signing of three foreign players during the mid-season window: Depu, Allan Okello, and Yao Kouassi. At the same time, the Wananchi have chosen to release several foreign players, including And Boyeli, Mohamed Doumbia, and now Celestin Ecua.
