If these talks bear fruit, Ibenge is expected to inherit the position recently vacated by Patrice Beaumelle, who recently parted ways with the team.
This situation puts Azam FC in a delicate position. At the same time, their head coach is being courted by two nations with a rich football history and competitive prestige in Africa.
