After their goalless draw against Simba in Zanzibar, defending NBC Premier League champions Young Africans (Yanga) are now heading to Singida for another tough assignment.
On March 5, Yanga will face Singida BS at the Airtel Stadium in a match expected to be highly competitive.
Following their previous encounter against Simba, many observers felt Yanga did not display their usual dominance. They will likely need to raise their performance levels in Singida to avoid defeat against the “Sunflower Growers.”
This month, Yanga, Simba, Azam Fc and Singida Black Stars are all set to play a series of rescheduled fixtures after falling behind due to their participation in CAF competitions.
After the Singida match, Wananchi will return to Dar es Salaam to face Polisi Tanzania in the CRDB Cup Round of 32, scheduled for March 8 at the KMC Complex.
On March 12, Yanga will travel to Mbeya to take on Tanzania Prisons before returning to Dar es Salaam for a crucial clash against Azam FC on March 15.
On March 18, they are expected to travel to Arusha to face TRA United, who have officially relocated to the region. After that fixture, Yanga will head to Dodoma to play Mtibwa Sugar on March 21.
