Rising Midfielder Inno Jospin Loemba Making Early Impact at Simba SC

Attacking midfielder for Simba Sports Club, Inno Jospin Loemba, has quickly begun building a strong reputation within the team after displaying impressive performances since joining during the 2025/2026 mid-season transfer window.

The 21-year-old star from the Republic of the Congo stood out particularly in the Kariakoo Derby against Yanga, played on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at New Amaan Complex Stadium. Despite the intense competition in the match, Loemba showed great creativity in midfield, creating opportunities and strengthening Simba’s attacking play.

Inno Jospin Loemba was born on August 4, 2004, and plays primarily as an attacking midfielder. He is also capable of playing as a second striker thanks to his pace and creativity when in possession of the ball.

Before joining Simba, Loemba played for several Central African clubs, including Inter Club Brazzaville and later Colombe Sportive du Dja et Lobo, where he showed significant development that attracted the attention of Simba scouts.

Beyond club football, Loemba is also among the emerging players in the Congo-Brazzaville national team setup, where he has already made several international appearances.

Since arriving at Msimbazi, Loemba has started to demonstrate his ability to play modern football that requires creativity, speed, and the ability to create scoring opportunities. His performances have added another creative option to Simba’s midfield, which already features experienced players such as Clatous Chama.

During the derby match against Yanga, Loemba displayed great composure and the ability to handle the pressure of a big game, something that impressed many Simba fans. His movements linking the midfield and attack appeared to be one of Simba’s key tactical weapons.

Simba supporters have begun to see Loemba as one of the new weapons that could help the club regain its sharp edge in domestic and international competitions.

Simba, one of the biggest and most successful clubs in Tanzania with 21 league titles, has always carried high expectations of competing strongly in the Tanzanian Premier League and African competitions.

Based on his current performances, Loemba appears to be one of the players who could become an important star for Simba this season. If he maintains this form, he may become one of the most relied-upon midfielders in the Wekundu wa Msimbazi squad.
