Tottenham Consider De Zerbi as Napoli Move to Secure McTominay

Tottenham Hotspur have held talks with former Olympique de Marseille coach Roberto De Zerbi about the possibility of offering him the job in the summer if the club remains in the Premier League (Telegraph).

Former Tottenham manager and player Glenn Hoddle has said he is ready to help the club avoid relegation if interim coach Igor Tudor is dismissed after losing his first three matches (Mail).

Another former Tottenham player, Robbie Keane, has also been mentioned among the leading candidates to replace Tudor if the North London club decides to sack him (TeamTalk).

Italian champions Napoli want to move quickly to tie Scotland midfielder Scott McTominay, 29, to a long-term contract amid interest from several Premier League clubs (Goal).

Newcastle United striker William Osula, 22, says he is unsure about what the future holds for him but is currently focused on the Tyneside club. The Denmark international had previously been linked with a move to VfB Stuttgart (ChronicleLive).

Atlético Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann, 34, has decided not to leave the club mid-season despite interest from American side Orlando City SC (L'Equipe).

Manchester City are expected to offer England midfielder Phil Foden, 25, a new contract when his current deal expires at the end of next season, although negotiations could be difficult due to his inconsistent form (The Athletic).

England midfielder Mason Mount, 27, has no plans to force a move away from Manchester United during the summer transfer window (Football Insider).

Manchester United have been informed that Turkish club Trabzonspor are not prepared to pay the requested £40–43 million fee to sign Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana, 29 (MEN).

Brentford winger Kevin Schade, 24, continues to attract interest from several major European clubs, with Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan reportedly interested in signing him (TeamTalk).
