Tanzania Prisons have confirmed that their match against Yanga will be played in Tabora at Ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium.
This follows the decision by the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) to close Sokoine Stadium on March 8, 2026.
Tanzania Prisons Chief Executive Officer, Ajabu Kifukwe, said they have already written to TFF informing them of their decision to use Ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium in Tabora while Sokoine Stadium continues to undergo renovations.
"Our match against Yanga will be played in Tabora at Ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium. We are well prepared to win after not having a good start. The players' morale is high, and we apologize to our fans for these changes which are beyond our control," said Kifukwe.
Tanzania Prisons and Yanga will face off on Thursday, March 12, in a match of the NBC Premier League.
