On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, Singida Black Stars will host Azam FC in an NBC Premier League match to be played at the Airtel Stadium in Singida Region.
After losing two major matches against Yanga (3-0) and Simba (2-1) at their home ground, Singida BS will be looking to bounce back against another “big” team from Dar es Salaam.
Apart from those losses to the Kariakoo giants, Singida BS has been in good form in recent matches, securing victories.
In their last five matches, Singida BS have lost only two—against Yanga and Simba—while winning the other three.
In the league standings, they sit in sixth place with 25 points, and a win against Azam FC could move them up to fourth place.
On the other hand, Azam FC, coached by Florent Ibenge, has been a difficult team to beat this season despite dropping several points through draws.
Azam FC remained unbeaten in their 15 first-round matches. However, in their last five games, they have managed only one win and four draws. They currently hold third place with 29 points after playing 15 matches.
The first-round match played at Azam Complex ended in a goalless draw, with both teams sharing the points.
Will Singida BS make the most of their home advantage this Wednesday?
