Simba attacking midfielder Elie Mpanzu is expected to miss today’s NBC Premier League match against Coastal Union, scheduled for Thursday, April 2, at Meja Jenerali Isamuhyo Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Reports from within Simba’s management indicate that Mpanzu will be unavailable due to illness.
Head coach Steve Barker has decided to give the Congolese player time to rest and fully recover.
However, Mpanzu could return to the squad during preparations for the Kariakoo Derby, where Simba will face Azam FC at Azam Complex next Wednesday.
