The KMC club recently announced the departure of head coach Abdallah Mohamed “Bares” along with the entire technical bench following poor results this Tanzanian Premier League season.
This move comes after the team occupied lower positions on the table, prompting management to take action to save the club from the threat of relegation.
Currently, KMC’s management is searching for a new coach to take over the technical bench and attempt to change the team’s trajectory.
Among the names being mentioned is Fred Felix Minziro, popularly known as “Majeshi,” a coach with extensive experience in Tanzania. Minziro is considered one of those capable of filling the shoes of previous coaches Marcio Maximo and Mohamed Bares.
Minziro is recognized as a tactically skilled coach with the ability to uplift a team facing significant challenges, also praised for promoting various teams from lower divisions.
KMC has accumulated only eight points in 18 matches this season, clear signs of heading toward the championship relegation zone, indicating that urgent action is needed to rescue the club from the danger of relegation.
