Simba SC roared at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha, booking their place in the CRDB Bank Federation Cup final with a commanding 4β0 victory over Coastal Union in the semi-final.
Playing in style, Simba dominated large parts of the match, putting their opponents under constant pressure throughout the game.
Early in the 19th minute, Libasse Gueye opened the scoring after beating Coastal Union defenders on the right wing, giving Simba an early lead.
Gueye was again influential in the second goal in the 55th minute, as his shot was parried by Coastal Union goalkeeper Wilbroad Maseke, before Nickson Kibabage reacted quickly to slot in the rebound.
Simba continued to control the match and added a third goal in the 75th minute through a penalty converted by Rushine de Reuck after Anthony Mligo was fouled inside the box.
The fourth goal came in the 79th minute from Clatous Chama, who fired a powerful shot from outside the box after receiving a pass from Suleiman Mwalimu.
The scoreline could have been even heavier for Coastal Union, as Simba missed several clear chances throughout the match.
Simba SC now advance to the final, where they will face either Azam FC or Yanga.
