JKT Tanzania have extended the contract of their head coach Ahmed Ally by two years, securing his services until 2028.
The decision comes after a strong 2025/26 season in which he guided the military side to a sixth-place finish in the NBC Premier League. Club officials expressed satisfaction with his performance and have now rewarded him with a long-term deal.
JKT Tanzania were one of the most competitive teams in the league last season, recording 10 wins, 12 draws, and eight defeats to finish with 42 points. At one point, the team even spent several weeks at the top of the league standings.
Ahmed Ally is among a growing group of young local coaches who continue to prove that Tanzanian coaches can succeed when given trust and opportunity.
He is also part of the technical bench of the Tanzania national team, Taifa Stars, which is currently led by coach Miguel Gamondi.
