Simba follow Azam's Lead

Simba SC departed Dar es Salaam for Zanzibar today, one day before their highly anticipated final against Azam FC, which will be played in Pemba on Saturday.

The Msimbazi Reds traveled with a full-strength squad for the showdown, scheduled to kick off at 5:00 p.m. at Gombani Stadium. The match will mark the first-ever Mzizima Derby to be staged at the venue.

Simba head into the final determined to bounce back after narrowly missing out on the league title to arch-rivals Young Africans  last weekend. Meanwhile, Azam FC will be aiming to lift their first trophy of the 2025–26 season after falling short in every other competition they have contested this campaign.
