Veteran midfielder Mzamiru Yassin has officially joined TRA United on a two-year contract as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Simba SC.
Mzamiru returns to TRA United after spending the 2025/26 season on loan at the club, where he impressed with consistent performances and established himself as one of head coach Etienne Ndayiragije's key players.
His strong displays convinced TRA United to sign him on a permanent basis, bringing an official end to his nine-year spell with the Msimbazi Reds.
In addition to Mzamiru, TRA United are continuing negotiations to sign defender Carabou Chamou, who also spent last season on loan from Simba.
Chamou is currently a free agent after his contract with Simba expired, and reports indicate that he is close to completing a permanent move to TRA United.
