Manchester United have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos during the summer transfer window. According to reports, United will pay an initial fee of Β£48 million, with a further Β£2 million in performance-related add-ons.
Reports also indicate that personal terms between Santos and Manchester United have already been agreed, while Chelsea have granted the player permission to undergo a medical ahead of completing his move to Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a departure from Stamford Bridge after struggling for regular first-team football. Manchester United turned their attention to Santos after missing out on Mateus Fernandes, who joined Tottenham Hotspur.
If the deal is finalized, Santos will become one of Manchester United's new signings ahead of the 2026/27 season, as the club continues to strengthen its midfield in a bid to compete more effectively in both domestic and international competitions.
