Simba SC have officially announced that they will participate in the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup, which is set to kick off on July 24 in Kigali, Rwanda.
The Tanzanian giants confirmed their participation today, stating that the tournament will bring together several clubs from East and Central Africa.
Teams expected to compete in this year's edition include APR and Rayon Sports (Rwanda), Simba SC and Singida Black Stars (Tanzania), Vipers SC (Uganda), Al Hilal, Gor Mahia (Kenya), and KVZ (Zanzibar).
Simba will use the tournament as part of their preparations for the 2026/27 season, which is scheduled to begin on August 12.
