Yanga SC have joined the list of clubs linked with a move for Liberian international winger Emmanuel Flomo, who currently plays for Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman.
Reports indicate that Yanga have already begun talks to bring the 18-year-old talent to Dar es Salaam, with the club said to have reached a personal agreement with the player over a possible move to the Tanzanian champions.
The next step for Yanga is to reach an agreement with Al Hilal, who still have a long-term contract with Flomo. Reports suggest the Tanzanian club is ready to negotiate with Al Hilal over the possibility of terminating the six-year deal the forward is believed to have with the Sudanese side.
Flomo made his name in Rwanda
Emmanuel Flomo's name gained significant attention following an outstanding season with Al Hilal in the Rwanda Premier League during the 2025/26 campaign.
The right winger finished the season with 12 league goals, ranking among the top scorers and emerging as one of the competition's most promising young players. Flomo played 16 matches in the Rwandan top flight and scored 12 goals for Al Hilal SC.
His impressive performances saw him recognised as one of the breakthrough talents of the season, finishing fourth on the league's top scorer chart.
Beyond his goal-scoring record, Flomo was named the best young player after an impressive campaign with the club.
His ability to operate on the right side of the attack, combined with his pace and confidence in taking on defenders despite his young age, has increased his value in the transfer market.
Yanga looking for fresh attacking talent
If the deal is completed, Flomo would join Yanga as part of the club's strategy of recruiting young talents capable of adding competition in the Tanzania Premier League and CAF competitions.
Yanga have been closely monitoring the African youth market, particularly players with the ability to add speed and creativity to their attacking options.
