Young Africans SC (Yanga) has confirmed that its preparations for the 2026/27 season will take place entirely at Avic Town, with no plans to travel elsewhere for a pre-season training camp.
Speaking about the team's preparations, Yanga's Head of Information and Communications, Ali Kamwe, said the club decided to remain at Avic Town because there is limited time left before the start of the new season.
"Our pre-season this year will remain at Avic Town. There will be no trip anywhere else due to the limited time remaining," Kamwe said.
The decision means the squad will continue all its pre-season activities at the facility, where the coaching staff will focus on improving the players' fitness, integrating new signings into the team, and fine-tuning tactical preparations ahead of the upcoming campaign. Yanga is gearing up for another demanding season, aiming to defend its domestic titles while also making a strong impact in the CAF interclub competitions.
Supporters are now eagerly awaiting the official unveiling of the club's new signings and the start of the new campaign.
