FIFA has officially announced that the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final will feature a special halftime entertainment show, marking the first time in the tournament's history that such an event will be held during the final. According to FIFA, the performance will take place during halftime and is expected to last approximately 11 minutes.
As a result, the traditional 15-minute halftime break will be extended to between 20 and 25 minutes to allow enough time for setting up and dismantling the performance stage without disrupting the match schedule.
The final is scheduled to be played on July 19, 2026, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, United States, and will become the first FIFA World Cup final to feature an official halftime show, similar to the entertainment spectacle seen during the NFL Super Bowl.
