The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has officially reminded clubs that only 25 days remain before the 2026/27 transfer window closes. The registration period covers clubs competing in the NBC Premier League, NBC Championship League, First League, U-20 Premier League, and the Women's Premier League.
According to a statement released by TFF Information and Communications Officer Cliford Mario Ndimbo, as of July 21, 2026, several clubs had yet to register a single player through FIFA's official FIFA Connect system. Among the Premier League clubs listed were Young Africans (Yanga), Simba SC, Azam FC, Dodoma Jiji, JKT Tanzania, Kagera Sugar, Fountain Gate, Mashujaa FC, Mbeya City, Namungo FC, TRA United, Pamba Jiji, and Polisi Tanzania.
TFF also revealed that the same situation has been observed across the Championship League, First League, and the Women's Premier League, with many clubs yet to begin their player registration process. The federation has urged all clubs to complete their player registrations and transfers on time through the FIFA Connect platform.
Furthermore, TFF stressed that the transfer window deadline will not be extended, urging clubs to use the remaining days to finalize all necessary registration procedures. The move is aimed at ensuring smooth preparations for the new season while maintaining compliance with FIFA and TFF registration regulations.
