Yanga SC have officially welcomed Kagisho Dikgacoi to the club's technical bench as Set-Piece Coach, joining the backroom staff of newly appointed head coach Manqoba Mngqithi. The South African tactician is among the members of Mngqithi's technical team that has arrived at Jangwani ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Dikgacoi brings a wealth of football experience, having enjoyed a distinguished playing career with Golden Arrows, Fulham, Crystal Palace, and Cardiff City. He also earned 54 international caps for South Africa's national team, Bafana Bafana, before transitioning into coaching.
Before joining Yanga, Dikgacoi served as an assistant coach at Golden Arrows, where he worked closely with Mngqithi. Their reunion at Yanga is expected to strengthen the club's technical setup as they prepare for the new campaign.
His appointment is part of Mngqithi's plan to assemble an experienced South African coaching team, alongside Simo Dladla and performance analyst Yardaan Valodia. The objective is to help Yanga maintain domestic dominance while mounting a stronger challenge in the CAF Champions League next season.
