Yanga have continued to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season after completing the signing of central defender Mohamed Mussa from Mashujaa FC.
Mussa, 22, has signed a two-year contract with the Tanzania Mainland champions and is expected to bolster the club's defensive unit for the upcoming campaign.
Reports indicate that the defender chose to join Yanga despite attracting interest from several top clubs, including Azam FC, opting to continue his football career at Jangwani.
The arrival of Mohamed Mussa makes him the third player to join Yanga from Mashujaa FC during the current transfer window. The club had already unveiled striker Hussein Mihambo and full-back Abdulnasir Gamal, who also arrived from Mashujaa.
The move highlights Yanga's confidence in the talent developed by Mashujaa FC while increasing competition within the squad as the club prepares to defend its domestic titles and compete strongly in continental competitions during the 2026/27 season.
