Tanzanian champions Yanga SC have reached an agreement with South African club Chippa United to sign Eswatini international striker Justice Figuareido.
According to reports, Yanga have purchased the remaining one year of Figuareido's contract with Chippa United. The move has opened the door for the striker to relocate to Tanzania and begin a new challenge with one of East Africa's most historic clubs.
After completing the agreement with Chippa United, Yanga have now been given permission to hold final negotiations with the player regarding his personal terms. Discussions are said to have started earlier, with both parties reportedly moving closer to an agreement.
The 27-year-old is expected to sign a two-year contract with Yanga and could arrive in Tanzania soon to join the champions, who have already started preparations for the new season at their Avic Town camp.
Figuareido arrives at Yanga with a strong record in the South African Premier Division, where he was directly involved in seven goals last season. His ability to operate in attacking positions and his experience in one of Africa's top leagues are expected to strengthen Yanga's forward line.
