Senegal’s appeal to be heard on October 8 at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)
  • On March 17, 2026, the Appeals Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the decision to strip Senegal of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title, in accordance with the regulations that Senegal was found to have violated during the final match.
