Simba SC have reshaped their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season by parting ways with Kenyan attacking midfielder Mohamed Bajaber, while winger Salehe Karabaka has been sent on a season-long loan to Pamba Jiji FC.
Bajaber, 23, will not continue with Simba after the club and the player reached a mutual agreement to terminate his contract.
The midfielder was not included in Simba's squad that traveled to Rwanda for pre-season preparations and participation in the CECAFA Kagame Cup.
Since joining the Msimbazi Reds, Bajaber struggled with recurring injuries that kept him sidelined for long periods. The setbacks limited his opportunities to showcase his ability and prevented him from becoming a regular part of the coaching staff's plans.
In an official statement, Simba thanked Bajaber for his contribution during his time at the club and wished him success in the next chapter of his football career.
Meanwhile, Simba have loaned winger Salehe Karabaka to Mwanza-based Pamba Jiji FC for the 2026/27 season. The move is intended to give the youngster more playing time and help accelerate his development.
Karabaka impressed during the previous season while on loan at JKT Tanzania, convincing Simba's management to continue providing him with regular first-team opportunities in an environment that supports his growth.
Despite the loan move, Simba have emphasized that Karabaka remains part of the club's long-term plans. The club says it will closely monitor his progress, while Pamba Jiji supporters will be hoping he strengthens their attacking options during the upcoming season.
