After making history by securing a 2-1 victory over South Africa in their Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON 2026) match, Tanzania women’s national team, Twiga Stars, conducted a road walk today as part of their recovery and fitness program.
The routine post-match exercise was aimed at helping the players reduce fatigue from the previous game and prepare for their upcoming matches in the tournament currently taking place in Morocco.
Twiga Stars recorded a big win over South Africa through goals from Diana Msewa and Hasnath Ubamba, a result that gave them a strong start to their WAFCON 2026 campaign.
