Tanzania Women’s National Team captain, Opa Clement, has expressed confidence ahead of the team's crucial match against Burkina Faso, insisting that the Twiga Stars are not worried about facing an opponent that includes striker Judicael Ouoba, who currently plays for Tausi FC in the Tanzania Women's Premier League.
Speaking before the match, Opa said that although Ouoba is familiar with several Tanzanian players because of her experience in the domestic league, that knowledge will not give Burkina Faso any significant advantage.
She emphasized that Twiga Stars have prepared thoroughly and are fully focused on delivering a strong performance. The captain added that every player understands the importance of the fixture and is determined to fight for the national badge.
She believes teamwork, discipline, and commitment will be the key factors in securing a positive result.
Burkina Faso, on the other hand, will look to capitalize on the experience of players such as Judicael Ouoba, but Tanzania remains confident in its quality and collective strength.
The match is expected to be a tightly contested encounter, with both teams aiming to claim an important victory.
