Coastal Union has called on football fans and supporters in the Tanga region to turn out in large numbers and take part in various activities leading up to the Coastal Union Festival 2026, which is scheduled to take place on August 11.
According to the club's Media Officer, Hussein Mchomvu, the festival will feature a number of community outreach activities, including visiting and donating to centers for people with special needs, sports bonanzas, blood donation drives, and supporting young people undergoing rehabilitation and behavioral correction programs.
Meanwhile, Saidi Bandawe, Executive Secretary of the Gift of Hope Foundation, encouraged the public to participate actively, saying the festival is designed to bring together football and community service while making a positive impact on society.
