The Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Albert Chalamila, has officially announced that he has joined Young Africans SC (Yanga) as a club member during the ongoing **Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Speaking before the meeting's delegates, Chalamila said that the arrival of striker Peter Shalulile was one of the main reasons that inspired him to become a member of the club. He explained that the signing demonstrates the club's stature across Africa.
"I was greatly impressed by the signing of Shalulile. I think it is one of the reasons why I have chosen today to become a member of this club. It is a great honor for the nation to have a player like Shalulile. I know Shalulile was highly sought after by many wealthy clubs in the Middle East, but he chose to come to this club. I sincerely congratulate the Wananchi for bringing one of Africa's football legends," said Albert Chalamila.
His remarks were met with enthusiastic applause from Yanga members attending the meeting, with many interpreting them as a sign of the club's growing prestige and influence both within Tanzania and beyond.
