Angolan international striker Laurindo Dilson Maria Aurélio "Depú" is expected to leave Young Africans (Yanga) during the current transfer window, with his former club Petro de Luanda showing strong interest in bringing him back.
However, negotiations between Petro de Luanda and Yanga have reportedly stalled after the two clubs failed to reach an agreement on the transfer fee. Yanga are said to be demanding around US$500,000 for the Angolan forward.
Petro de Luanda considers the asking price too high at this stage, which has prevented the deal from moving forward.
Although the Angolan club remains interested in re-signing their former player, no official agreement has been reached.
Depú, who represents the Angola national team, joined Yanga with high expectations and has been part of the club's preparations for the new season.
His future remains uncertain, with fans eagerly waiting to see whether he will stay at Jangwani or complete a return to Petro de Luanda before the transfer window closes.
