Arsenal have officially completed an agreement to sign Brazilian international midfielder Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle United in one of the biggest transfers of this transfer window.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal and Newcastle United have reached a full agreement following lengthy negotiations, with the transfer fee reported to be around £75 million.
Reports indicate that personal terms between Arsenal and Bruno Guimarães had already been agreed since July, with the only remaining step being an agreement between the two clubs.
Bruno's arrival gives manager Mikel Arteta another top-class midfielder who is expected to add quality, strength, and creativity to Arsenal's midfield ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Brazilian star has been one of Newcastle's standout performers in recent seasons, earning a reputation as one of the most sought-after midfielders in European football.
This signing is seen as a major statement of intent from Arsenal as they continue to strengthen their squad in their pursuit of the Premier League title and a strong UEFA Champions League campaign.
