Today has sparked many questions among football fans in the country after two events involving Kariakoo giants Yanga and Simba, with the name of Azam FC's talented midfielder Feisal Salum ‘Fei Toto’ becoming part of the discussion.
Shortly after Yanga posted a graphic featuring the number 6 on its Instagram page, Simba honorary president Mohamed Dewji ‘Mo’ also shared a picture of a Simba jersey with the same number 6 on his Instagram Story.

The move sparked various interpretations among football fans, with some wondering whether it was just a normal social media post or if there was something bigger happening behind the scenes.
What does the number 6 mean?
For Yanga, the post has raised many questions because of its timing, which coincides with preparations for the launch of the club’s new jerseys. Wananchi supporters expect the club’s new 2026/27 season kit to be unveiled on Thursday, August 6, with some fans predicting that the event could take place at 6pm.
However, another angle emerged after Mo Dewji posted a Simba jersey bearing the number 6, leading some fans to believe that there could be a hidden message behind it.
Fei Toto also enters the discussion
The speculation intensified after Azam FC unveiled their new jerseys, but their star midfielder Feisal Salum ‘Fei Toto’ was absent from the event.
Fei Toto’s absence has led fans to raise questions, especially because there have long been reports and rumours linking both Simba and Yanga with attempts to secure the services of the highly skilled midfielder.
However, Fei Toto is currently in Rwanda with Azam FC as they continue preparations for the 2026 season ahead of the new competitive campaign.
A mind game or is a deal being prepared?
The biggest question currently dominating social media is: Are these number 6 references from Yanga and Simba simply online publicity tactics, or is there something happening behind the scenes involving Fei Toto?
Fans from both clubs have continued analysing every sign, with some believing that the clubs could be using psychological tactics before making a major announcement.
On the other hand, some believe these events could simply be linked to commercial plans and have nothing to do with player transfers.
