Kamwe is expected to play a key role in hosting the event, with Yanga supporters eagerly waiting to see how their club will present its new squad ahead of the upcoming season.
For several years since the festival was launched, the responsibility of leading the celebrations and entertainment during Yanga's squad unveiling was handled by the club's former spokesperson, Haji Manara.
Manara became widely known for his unique way of engaging with supporters, rallying the Wananchi and making Yanga Day an event filled with entertainment and excitement.
However, things are different this year.
Manara will be absent from the stage for the first time, with the responsibility now handed to Ali Kamwe, who has also built a strong reputation in his role as Yanga's Information and Communications Manager.
