Simba are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Mashujaa FC to sign striker Ismail Mgunda.
The process of finalising the striker’s transfer is at an advanced stage, and if everything is completed as expected, he could travel to Zanzibar today to join the Simba squad.
Mgunda is set to join the Wekundu wa Msimbazi as a replacement for Suleiman Mwalimu, who has moved to Yanga.
Mgunda has been one of the players on Simba’s transfer radar for a long time during this transfer window.
He is expected to strengthen Simba’s attacking options alongside Ibrahim Doumbia and Elie Mpanzu.
