Young Africans SC midfielder Allan Okello could miss the club’s campaign this season after Wydad AC submitted an offer to sign the Ugandan playmaker.
Okello has been one of Yanga’s key creative players, known for creating chances, delivering the final pass and adding creativity in midfield. His departure would therefore leave a significant gap in the squad.
Wydad have reportedly offered $700,000 (approximately TZS 1.8 billion) for the player, while Yanga are demanding $1 million (approximately TZS 2.6 billion).
A final decision is expected to be made after today’s Kariakoo Derby, meaning Okello could leave Yanga this season if the two clubs reach an agreement.
