Dodoma Jiji FC, known as the “Walima Zabibu,” have completed the signing of Togo international attacking midfielder Marouf Tchakei on a season-long loan deal for the 2026/27 campaign from Singida Black Stars.
Tchakei is a familiar name to football fans in Tanzania, having previously impressed during spells with Fountain Gate and Singida. He is expected to add creativity and a new attacking dimension to the squad owned by the Dodoma City Council.
Dodoma Jiji have already officially unveiled the player after completing all registration formalities, and he is now ready to begin his stint with the club.
The arrival of the talented playmaker is being viewed as a response to the shortcomings highlighted in Dodoma Jiji’s opening league match, when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Pamba Jiji FC.
