Libyan club Al Ahli Tripoli have officially unveiled striker Jean Claude Girumugisha, who joins from Sudanese side Al Hilal.
The Burundi international, who had reportedly been a target for Tanzania’s Yanga, has signed a two-year contract with the Libyan club.
Girumugisha will now link up with former Yanga star Fiston Mayele, who has also joined Al Ahli Tripoli as a free agent after his contract with Pyramids expired.
Girumugisha was among the players who impressed in African football last season, particularly during the CAF Champions League (CAFCL) campaign with Al Hilal.
