Yanga SC head coach Manqoba Mngqithi says his team has prepared thoroughly for their Tanzania Mainland Premier League match against Coastal Union, while acknowledging the quality of their opponents.
Mngqithi said Coastal Union have technically gifted players, particularly those who are comfortable using their left foot. He singled out Shiza Kichuya as one of the players capable of posing a significant threat in the match.
Despite recognising Coastal Union’s strengths, the coach said Yanga’s responsibility is to execute their game plan and utilise the quality within their squad to secure the result they want.
Meanwhile, Yanga player Hussein Masalanga said that although the team has a good record against Coastal Union in previous meetings, they are aware that matches against the opponents have always presented a challenge.
