Simba assistant coach Suleiman Matola says the team is well prepared for their upcoming Premier League clash against Coastal Union, which will be played tomorrow, Thursday, at Isamuhyo Stadium.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the match, Matola said they expect strong opposition from Coastal Union, just as in their previous encounters. However, he insisted that Simba are well prepared to secure victory.
"Our preparations are going well, and I believe this will not be an easy match. Simba and Coastal Union have always produced highly competitive encounters whenever they meet."
"If you look at Coastal Union, they have not had good results, but they have been playing well and showing great competitiveness. This makes us believe we will have a difficult match tomorrow."
"Despite the challenge they pose, we have prepared well to ensure we collect three points from tomorrow's match," Matola said.
Matola also spoke about the importance of the FVS system being used in the league this season, outlining the steps Simba have taken to ensure they are no longer repeatedly affected by red-card incidents in their matches.
"It is an important decision to introduce FVS into our league. We have done a lot of work on the training ground to improve the players' concentration and help them avoid things that previously went unnoticed but can now be identified," Matola said.
